Pałac LX
The Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw was opened on July 22, 1955.
The photographic series “Pałac LX” was created for the book “Pałac w Warszawie” (The Palace in Warsaw) and intended to accompany the essay by Professor Waldemar Baraniewski. The series is the first one to eventually give justice to lavish Socialist-realist architecture of this most spectacular building in Warsaw. Photographed in glorious black-and-white 4×5 in. negative film.
