Decapitalization

Decapitalization occurs when a portion of the principal of the fund is divested.

I chose nine Warsaw buildings that are important for the cityscape. Each of them represents particular period in local history of architecture. What links them is their uncertain fate. All of them are on the edge in some sense. Some of them will be converted, another will disappear, yet another would be rebuilt in similar shape. The buildings were photographed during 2016 and early 2017. I put attention to their urban presence, outside appearance and interiors. Here are just 14 photographs from over 350 which were made during the project.
