Centre for the Meeting of Cultures in Lublin
Extensive photographic study of the building of Centre for the Meeting of Cultures in Lublin. The Centre — one of the largest cultural venues in Poland was designed by Bolesław Stelmach and built in years 2012–2016. Its history though reaches first half of 1970s when the ambitious project of theatre and philharmonic hall was launched. Today’s building incorporates foundations of the original 1970s structure as well as what is now the Lublin Philharmonic Hall designed by Stanisław Fijałkowski and built in 1990s.
Commissioned by the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures for the book “Miejsce Spotkania” (The Meeting Place).
